Colina Verde
is a small inland 9-hole course situated in Maragota, between the coast and the Algarvian mountain range.
The Maragota tourism complex is located in a rural area and is especially for those seeking peace and privacy. Away from the bustle of the busy Algarvian beaches, the complex looks out towards the hillside of Sao Miguel and from all nine holes of the course there is a view of the Ria Formosa and the sea, with the fishing village of Fuseta. This course places special emphasis on control when teeing off since it consists of a loop of 9 short holes (one par 4 and the others par 3). Logically, this single par 4 (or 2) hole is the longest at 245 meters; the fifth hole is one of the most interesting with a green that is well protected by the lake situated in the middle of the grounds. The countryside surrounding the Colina Verde course is characterized by wild flowers and the small trees and shrubs that are typical of the region, such as mastic trees, olive and carob.

Benamor
the first golf course to open east of the capital of the Algarve, Faro, and lies just outside of Tavira.
The owning Martins Dias family invited the late Sir Henry Cotton make a concept design for an 18-hole course. Sir Henry was inspired by the beautiful church next to the site of the Clubhouse and by its spectacular location. The final result is a delightful par 71 golf course of 5.500mt (6.100 yards).
The course was official opened in March 2000. This course offers a pleasant experience, to players of all standards. The course is undulating but not hilly. The views of the mountains to the North and the Atlantic Ocean to the South are stunning. The Penn A4 greens and tees are simply superb. The fairways of Bermuda Sahara and cool-season grasses provide good lies for wood and iron shots.
Player’s accuracy is particularly called upon by the architect’s retention of as many of the old trees as feasible. These natural obstacles coupled with strategic placed bunkers and occasional water hazards make the course a worthwhile challenge. This course was selected as the Best Maintained Course for 2001 by the Portuguese Golf Federation.

Castro marim
opened in 2000, in an area of Algarve that until recently had no golfing infrastructures. Located close to the historic town of Castro Marim the course runs through undulating hills dotted with pines and offering players beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean, with occasional views over the River Guadiana to neighboring Spain, and the nearby nature reserve.
The recently built course is part of a truly exceptional tourist development, designed to provide unforgettable moments of leisure. It has a very special setting in the peaceful atmosphere of the eastern Algarve and was the first course to be built in this region, The design of the so-called "Atlantic Course" made use of the natural undulations of the hills and is sprinkled with many ornamental lakes. The fairways have been made with Bermuda grass, whilst the greens are made with the new Penn A4 grass. This course askes for careful play due to its strategically placed water hazards and fairway terrain that can get you into trouble This is not mention the well placed bunkers waiting for an erring ball
What makes Castro Marim Golf & Country Club really special is its unique blend of history, culture, nature, river, sea, beach and sporting facilities in one single setting, together with its exceptional service and quality. Its proximity to the Benamor Course has meant that there is now a new major golfing centre in the Algarve.

Quinta da Ria
This spectacular 18 hole golf course is in the Ria Formosa Natural Park and spreads along an almost flat surface of 660 m2 down to the Ria Formosa itself, hanging over it and with a stunning view of the sea. It is a par 72, comprising two loops of 9 holes and each loop with 2 par 5, five par 4 and two par 3 holes. Its total length is about 6.016 meters.
Five lakes were strategically built along the course, specifically near greens 5, 10 and 14. Hole 16, par 5, is played between the two biggest lakes. The green of par 3 nr. 17 is limited by one of these lakes where an island with various bird fauna may be found. Besides the beauty the lakes render to the course, they are also used as water reservoirs for the irrigation and are nourished by a stream.
Most of the night irrigation water is recovered through drainage, reaching the lakes through an intelligent modulation of the ground. The greens, smoothly undulating, are well protected by bunkers. Greens, tees and fairways are covered with Bent Crenshaw and the roughs with Poa Pretensis with Festuca.
More than 300 trees, such as olive and carob have been transplanted in order to maintain the ancient border of the course and the typical features of the regions landscape. It seems as if the course is of the same age as its centenary trees. From any place in the site, one can see both the mountains and the sea. The surrounding orange trees and vineyards give their contribution to make the course's country landscape even more beautiful.
Next to the Quinta da Ria Golf Course is the 18 hole Quinta de Cima Golf Course.
